Griffin Technology Showcases Evolve Wireless Sound System: first time in UK

The Evolve base station is both audio transmitter and charging station. On either side of the iPod dock are charging pads for the 4” cube-shaped speakers. To charge the speakers, the user simply places them on the charging plate; there’s nothing to plug in or unplug. A fully-charged speaker delivers up to 10 hours of play time, and each speaker cube features its own on/off power switch and automatic sleep mode to conserve battery charge.
Evolve is smart. When the speakers dock to a base they intelligently sense which base to receive music from, and whether to act as right or left speaker in stereo mode. So, two or more systems can broadcast in any space, without interfering with each other. Additional speakers can be added to a single base station, in stereo or mono mode, in every room of the house (or even outside the house) up to 150 feet away.
Evolve is not limited to iPod; standard stereo auxiliary-in jacks on the base station accept any MP3 player or audio device. And Evolve is not limited to audio. For video-capable iPod models, the Evolve base station acts as multimedia hub, connecting both video and audio from your iPod to your TV or home entertainment system.
Griffin’s Evolve Wireless Sound System is engineered for superior sound, ease of use, and value for money. Plus, the sleek industrial design looks fantastic in any home.
Evolve will retail at £249.99 and will be available in all good UK retailers from March 2008…visit griffintechnology.com
