Christian Bale In Talks To Star Alongside Johnny Depp In Public Enemy

It’s a meeting of the beautiful people! It’s been reported that Christian Bale is currently in talks to appear alongside Johnny Depp in Public Enemies, Michael Mann’s new film.

Variety are reporting that Bale is up for the role of Melvin Purvis, the FBI agent who set up the capture of John Dillinger, the American bank robber. Depp has already signed on to play Dillinger, with shooting beginning in March.

With Bale and Depp on board, this film is bound to bring in big bucks at the box office!
