Call of Duty 4 (cod4) find game problems on Sony PS3

Call of Duty 4 is an amazing game and one that is the best of its kind yet, most of my gaming time is spent playing COD4 but there are some bugs.
Many gamers have been having trouble (including me) finding games when playing online, you always get in a game but sometimes it takes ages. First I thought it could be my firewall but after many of my friends and family told me they have the same problem I knew there is more to this story.
It now looks like this issue could be fixed or is getting fixed, as Wednesday, January 9, at 4:00 AM PST the servers were taken offline and an update was made. The problem was they “didn’t have enough servers to maintain the load of players”.
Now we can get back to doing what we love, COD4 online and moving up the prestige levels.

That is because there is a difference between free and paid services. Sony Online SUCKS.
@Daniel, forgot to state that it was not PS3 servers it was infact Inifinity Ward’s “Demonware” servers..and @Charles..STFU how is it paying for a network that crashes over the winter holiday, one of the biggest gaming times of the year
Xbox live has been down for 2 weeks now on and off. People haven’t been able to play 360 CoD4 either. Sucks more to be paying for a service that you can’t use.
BTW what are you actually paying for? These days multi-player games use peer to peer on Live so your console becomes the server. A unified friends list? Great PC has had that for years for free. MS is ripping you off.

Seeing as though Sony has nothing to do with Demonware, Infinity Ward, or Activision. I should probably spell it out for you ( demonware host the servers) Anyway I’ll be playing all my beautiful games on my PS3 while you sit there and jam pop tarts into your new toaster after your RROD. Oh and as far as online service is concernd we’ll see. MS puts so many limitations on LIVE we’ll see what the developers do in the future with the PSN, I’m sure we’ll see a migration. Meantime find the nearest closet to you and hang yourself, less misery than playing with your toaster.

i do not prefer one system to the other sine i got both, and to tell you the truth, there is hardly a differnce between live and psn once you in the game and playing… its only when you have to talk to a friend does psn come a problem, but it all be fixed in teh future..

I love watching you pretend you’re getting a good chuckle out of having your ignorance called out and being made to look stupid. As for as COD4 on PS3, I don’t have a problem getting games, but I do have a problem with autospeak, I don’t need to hear everyone’s crying children, burps, coughs and complaints that even they don’t want you to hear. There has to be a better way.

1. i don’t even need to explain why charles is a dumbass, it’s just kinda of a no brainer.
2. you can’t judge which system COD4 is better on unless you played both… and i played both and i can honestly say that COD4 is better on the ps3 than the 360 in every way except it doesn’t have custom soundtracks. but it’s still better trust me i would know.
3. xbox ends up costing more after buying all that extra mesh of hardware shit (including hd dvd add on which died by the way, rechargeable battery packs, useless systems skins, xbox live, new motherboards and other nm chips, Wi-Fi add on, external hard drive add on, memory cards, bluetooth receiver add on, and any other shit i forgot to add here)
4.despite MS denying it, the 360 is indeed less powerful and apparantly games do need bluray since Lost Odyssey requires not 2 or 3 but 4 discs.
MS has system life span goals of 5-6 years where as Sony shoots for 9-10 years and their previous systems show that.
5. xbox had better games, TRUE, but the was because they came out earlier and companies were still making games for ps2 because it’s so good.
360 doesn’t even have that anymore because this year, ps3 has the 360 on games, and hi-def movies, and cheaper costs, and even more to come.

you dont need to waste money buying all that extra shit the guy above me listed, you dont need to buy custom skins, or rechargable battery packs, just use rechargable batteries, i have a 360 and i play just fine without all the attachments and shit all i have are two controllers thats it
just play the damn games and stop bitching
