Starcraft II Terran Unit Crucio Siege Tank: why make it less powerful

Blizzard have give a little update on Starcraft II, the Teran Unit now have a new Crucio Siege Tank. The thing is why would Blizzard add a new tank that is less powerful that the original siege tank?, apart from less power nobody knows for sure what other differences the new Crucio Siege Tank has.

Let us hope that it has some new features, otherwise Starcraft II fans will be very disappointed, and some fans hope that maybe it will be able to teleport, or maybe it will have a longer range on its gun. Well it seems as if we will just have to wait and see.
