Fujitsu Biodegradable Laptop: corn-based notebook casings

This is the Fujitsu Biodegradable Laptop made with corn-based notebook casings; the computer was spotted at this year’s CES.
Inhabitat report that “the main component is polylactic acid, also known as PLA, a resin that comes from the fermentation of the raw biomass from plants,” I guess there will still be a lot of bad stuff in the making of this laptop though.
We do not have a date yet on when you can buy one of these laptops that Mother Nature would love.
