Fix your Xbox 360 Red Ring of Death
Here we have found a video of just how easy it is to fix your Red Ring of Death on your Xbox 360; however some people have stated that you need to be able to know what you are doing before you attempt the fix. This small warning kind of puts you off a bit.

Normally if you get those three red lights, then you know that your Xbox 360 has got a hardware failure so normally you just give Microsoft a ring and hopefully they will fix the problem for free.

The thing is when watching this video I just can’t understand why anyone will want to do it as you have the three year warranty from Microsoft. And the moment you open up your Xbox 360, does that not void the warranty.

Yes and doesn’t constantly trying to promote Sony’s PS3 and constantly writing hit pieces on the 360 void your posisition as a ‘Product Review’ web site?

Don’t bother trying to answer, it was a rhetorical question same as yours, although mine wasn’t aimed at trolling for my favorite electronics company.

  3. I got my Xbox 360 in December of 2007. I only play on the weekends (except during the summer) and when I play, I play for only an hour and then I let it rest. I usually do not start playing again until 30 minutes or more of letting it cool down. With this playing schedule, is there a chance that I will get the infamous Red Ring of Death?

There is so much written about this error it is unbelivable. Mike is right as soon as you open up the case you do void the warranty.

Although saying that the fix is really quite easy to do as long as you get some good quality video to help you out.

Basically it works off the principle of stopping the heat build up on the chips and once you do this you will be back in the game in no time!

Of course if you are really worried about doing this then you should send it in I suppose.
