Eye-Fi Wireless card beats 9 to top spot at CES
If you thought that having an SD Card that can send pictures wirelessly was something that was still a few years down the line, then think again as Eye-Fi Wireless card does just that. And according to AP this new storage device was very popular at CES 2008 as it reached number one by beating 9 others to the top spot of Last Gadget Standing session at the show.

The contest that was staged by Yahoo Inc.’s at their technology section, where the winner is chosen by whoever receives the loudest applause by the CES audience.

The Eye-Fi Inc wireless card cost $100 and comes with 2GB of storage space; once you have taken your picture you can then transfer these images using the Wi-Fi to your computer. In second place was the iRobot Corp gutter-cleaning robot, which costs $99.
