CES 2008: New USB i-Buddy knows when MSN friends are online

I really want one of these USB i-Buddy gadgets, they are well cool. Ok looking at them is good enough and will win many peoples hearts with the charming look, but it what they can do that intrigues me (Ok maybe I do need to get a life).

The iBuddy can take a simple instant message emote to all dimensions, basically you have many friends on MSN messenger for example and when one of them comes online hey presto the i-Buddy starts flashing its lights and flapping its wings, oh and it can turn its body around too.

This little PC or laptop gadget can identify up to eight different emotes and act differently to each one, check out some more pictures over at Gizmodo.
