Teaming the old with the new can have some very cool-looking results. Take this amazing wooden PC case by Jeffrey Stephenson which was on display at CES 2008. Inspired by antique clock designs, The Antique Clock case mod is carved from mahogany wood.
Not only is the outside impressive, the Antique Clock case mod comes rocking a VIA processor, motherboard, 1GB of crucial DDR2 memory and an eight-inch Earth LCD Touch screen. Pretty cool hey? Well, there’s more. The back has a wi-fi antenna, power connector and a push-button power switch and two USB ports.
The designer, Jeffrey Stephenson, has said he’s ready to build one of these amazing computers for around $10,000.
