This is the Canon ZR830 which is a feature-rich digital camcorder and if you don’t plan on using it to shoot still images or don’t shoot in low light then this camcorder is a bargain.
The good points include a low price at around $250, a built-in lens cover, wide-screen LCD, impressive color in good lighting and an easy to use menu system with joystick control. The bad points (yes their always are some), poor low-light performance, not enough stabilization at maximum zoom, low-resolution still photos, bottom-loading tape and no accessory shoe or microphone input.
