Amy Ryan And Greg Kinnear Join Matt Damon In Life In The Emerald City

The latest collaboration between Paul Greengrass and Matt Damon has had some new arrivals in the cast in the shape of Greg Kinnear and Amy Ryan. They are to join Damon in The Green Zone, a film based on Rajiv Chandrasekaran’s non-fiction book Imperial Life In The Emerald City.

The film will focus on the search for WMD’s in Iraq. Damon will be playing “an officer who teams with a senior CIA officer” to search for WMDs. Ryan is to play a foreign correspondent who is sent to the country to investigate the WMD claims. Kinnear is said to be playing another CIA officer.

The script was written by Greengrass and Brian Helgeland and shooting for the film has begun in Spain today. Stay tuned for more casting information.
