Xbox Live
This one is pretty annoying really, Xbox Live is down again which is a pain in the butt really considering there was a week of frustration when it was down; there was even a lawsuit because of this problem as you may well know.

The official Xbox.com site says that users may experience problems performing transactions dependent on Windows Live ID availability including but not limited to Xbox 360 account creation plus renewal and recovery and even logging into or creating Windows Live ID accounts. They said “We are aware of the issue and actively working toward a resolution. We apologize for any inconvenience”.

A new update from XBL says that Arcade seems to be working well even multiplayer but some games for example Call of Duty 4 are still down, apparently as of today Xbox Live is back up and running. So some games are fine and some are not.

I will personally check this later. Please let us know if you are still having problems and how much this is frustrating you?

Halo 3, 2 hours, only 5 games played. Most time spent waiting, searching for players.

It has truly got to the point where enough is enough. I have been pretty patient and they cannot just say that this stuff started right at christmas time. It started a week possibly two weeks prior to that. It just was not as bad. My patience level has got to the point that I don’t even want to look at my 360 without chucking it through a window. Bill Gates you have money and people, by now the problem should be fixed, so get it fixed. You are losing mass amounts of people for something so stupid. Upgrade the freaking servers and lets get it done sooner rather than 2 to 3 months later. Your wasting my time and my money, thank god i don’t use vision, but i did have intentions of it. Scrap that plan xbox live is down AGAIN!

    XBox Live (Down)
Yes it sucks that it’s down, but overall it’s been pretty reliable since I signed up over 2 years ago. I feel for the new subscribers and can only imagine what their impression must be.

    XBox 360 & PS3
I have both, and the Wii too. Bought the PS3 because I had the PS2 and wanted to upgrade and have the BluRay, backward compatibility etc. Loved playing Resistance, even online it was cool, no hickups with over 20 players.

My XBox 360 gets played the most. The PS3 hardly ever gets used, but that is mainly because most of my friends/family have XBox Live, and we enjoy playing online. So when a multiplayer game comes out, I buy it for the 360 instead of the PS3, unless it is a PS3 only title like Resistance. The PS3 has a lot of neat features and can connect to your PSP wirelessly, and I’m sure a bunch of other stuff that I don’t do, but others may. The 360 can connect to my PC and I can watch movies and listen to music, again, don’t use that feature much either, but some probably do.

The flaming wars between Sony and MS are pretty lame. Both systems are pretty cool. Just like Mac and PC. Both have pros/cons, to each their own.

    Competition is a good thing!
It keeps prices down and forces companines to create more cool stuff for the consumer. Hey look at this new cool thing for you to buy. But wait, we made it too, and it’s even better. No ours is better, no ours is, our is, yeah but were in the process of making it even better.

seriously guys, comparing the 360 live to psn is like a wagon vs a ferrari xbox live is so much better!, just becouse its been having problems for the last 2 weeks doesnt mean its the end of the world. live has over 10 million online members and from october to now they sold an extra 3 million consoles and say half of them go online = 1.5million jump straining the servers.

Wait for a little while and things will get back to normal, even microsoft was shocked they reached 10 million members soemthing liek 6 months ahead of the predicted back in e3!!! even if lvie is down go do some singleplayer, earn some of the gamer points while waiting ;)

p.s ive had no problems gonig on live my self last couple weeks sorry to ther est of you but just wait!
