Xbox 360 Exclusive Games
Mark just done a post about Halo Wars and how it will be exclusive to the Xbox 360 just like a lot of games sites say, but we hear this a lot and it’s wrong. One example is Gears of War which is said to be an exclusive Xbox 360 game but it’s also on the PC for millions of PC users to buy the game…is that really an exclusive to the 360.

360 exclusive
PC exclusive

So when you hear Xbox 360 gamers saying to Sony PS3 owners about their long list of Microsoft games that are exclusive to the 360, they have got to be wrong.

What does exclusive mean really then in the games world, are these games exclusive to the Xbox 360 when they are also on the PC.

This is really funny. First of all you can play any game on the pc if you know how to do it the right way. I have a BD-burner on my pc and well it means it also reads them and well my pc is a beast to start with, so a ps3, 360(the dvd-9 sucks) and the wii emulators run nice w/o any frame drops and lagg.

Reasons to write long boring comments about why your console sucks and mine is great

    - I’m a dumb fanboy with nothing better to do
    - Everbody hates me and it’s the only way i get any attention
    - I actually believe i’m being clever
    - I’m stupid enough to think if i throw in a few good points of the other system, people wont realize that i’m a biased fanboy
    - If i can con some more people to buy PS3’s I might actually find someone to play with on PSN

    Reasons to purchase a PS3:

    - I love Sony so much
    - I don’t like Microsoft
    - Microsoft Sucks
    - Sony rulz
    - I’m gay for Sony

Though, no one has been able to answer this question for me; when Sony start making controllers with last gen rumble, do you get a refund for the sixaxis you’ve already been charged for?

@ nynja, I heard from that the newer xbox 360 don’t have the problems you mentioned from people who owned them. Interestingly, SNES, PS1, and PS2 all had widespread hardware problems, but they still ended up selling the most in their respective console generation.

And one of your reasons for owning a xbox 360, “Online communities are more important than games”, is kind of funny since every sane person knows that xbox 360 owners gets BOTH the best console online community AND the most and best games.

@ Fred, saying “Gears of War is an exclusive game because it’s a console exclusive.” is not the same as saying “Assassins Creed is 360 exclusive because you only own a 360.” PC is not a video game console like the others.

  5. Ivan_PSP says:

We all know Xbox 360 has basically no exclusive. If i want to play Xbox exclusive all i gotta do is go to mininova.org and download it Lol. Microsoft sucks at everything they do i feel sorry for all those Xbox Live suckers paying for Xbox Live and for what they download is beyong $50 more like hundreds. Xbox is almost dead just like thet hd add on HD DVD.

Karlo, seriously, a list? What drives people to do this? Never once have I put up a list of exclusive titles, you know why? Because it won’t change anyones mind on what they like. The fucking end.

  7. teh fails! says:

I’m saying this on Mark’s rant about switching to the PS3, but if you kids are going to say that Gears of War going to the PC a year after it is released on 360 makes it not an exclusive, then we have got to stop hearing that Metal Gear Solid 4 will be exclusive to the PS3.
