Nintendo Wii Fit package sold a million units in Japan in one month

Now we know Nintendo Wii is an awesome gaming machine and even their accessories are just as popular. In Japan alone one million Nintendo Wii Fit packages have been sold in just over a month.

The hardware and software bundle reached a massive milestone on January 6th after it was introduced to the market on December 1st according to Nikkei.

The Nintendo Wii Fit was unveiled at E3 last year by Shigeru Miyamoto and has represented Nintendo’ push to expand the industry to another level in the traditional video game market.

The Wii Fit is fantastic and is basically a balance board peripheral and software that will simulate a fitness workout, there are more than 40 types of training activities which will keep you bust and of course fit for a while.

  1. When I first started working out with the Wii Fit, I was worried that I wouldn’t really be able to get a good cardio workout. The Aerobics activities were intense enough to get my heart rate into the high range, but they were only a few minutes long.
