Apple iPhone virus
My Apple iPhone is one of the best products I brought last year and I have loved the way Mac’s do not catch viruses like Windows computers do, but today I am hearing that my Apple iPhone can in fact catch a virus.

Phones review are reporting that “an 11-year old kid added an app to Installer sources that lists itself as “iPhone firmware 1.1.3 prep” — we’re calling it fail.trojan — an update to Erica’s Utilities.

Although I should not worry too much as the bug is not that troublesome and apparently just says “shoes” once installed.

Do you think this is the start of many virus’s to come for not only the iPhone but all phones as they get more advanced software installed.

This is not a virus. Check wikipedia for the definition of a computer virus. This is a trojan, it requires the user to be duped into downloading the software and installing it with an admin password. It does not replicate, you can’t catch it by visiting a website. It requires action on part of the user.
