Maxine Peake - The Next Barbara Windsor???

Maxine Peake who plays Veronica in Channel 4 TV show Shameless is said not too amused at the fact she has been compared to Barbara Windsor. “Some bloke said Anne-Marie Duff was the next Helen Mirren, while I was the slightly less talented version of Barbara Windsor” she said.

She recently starred with Mark Addy in the one off comedy drama Bike Squad.
