Oh my couldn’t Linksys come up with a more ridiculous long winded name, Linksys WVC54GC Wireless G Internet Home Monitoring Camera. It could have been Linksys WVC54GC or Linksys Wireless G Camera, but hell no they wanted all of it.
Oh well shall we let you know about the camera anyway, we will be more consumer friendly and call it the Linksys Wireless G Camera. The Linksys Wireless G Camera (LOL) is a decent product to tell you the truth and is easy to use for a networked camera.
Some of the key features include VGA video recorded to a MPEG-4 or Motion JPEG codec, 802.11g and 10/100 Ethernet connections and can be limited to local network video streaming or even opened up to the internets publicly or privately.
There is what we like a Security Mode setting that will send video clips via email if the camera detects motion in its line of view, how about a remote log on feature to stream and set the video to record to a local hard drive or even on a predetermined schedule.

Hi
I am after a camera I can use in my garage, I need recorded times and be able to switch it on when I want to so with this in mind is the Linksys WVC54GC the product I can use. The camera must also be easy to set up and link to my computer.
