iTunes Movie Rental: Lions Gate, Paramount, Disney, Fox and Warner Bros on board

September last year the question was being asked if Apple will offer iTunes movie rentals, but now in 2008 things are much clearer with Lions Gate, Paramount, Disney, Twentieth Century Fox and Warner Bros all on board.

This bunch of big names joining the iTunes movie rental service has been rumored from Bloomberg, apparently sources have been speaking to them anonymously of course…We will know how much truth is in this rumor when an announcement is expected to be made on the January 15th.

Appleinsider is reporting that older titles and new releases will rent for $3.99 for 24 hours.
