iTune Prices to be made the same accross Europe

A statement has been made this morning by Apple to say that it will be lowering the iTune prices in the UK to match the already standardised prices across Europe. There has been a lengthy investigation after it has been found that UK customers have been paying more than those in Europe, and that music could only be bought through a pricier store.
It has been found that UK customers have been paying 79 pence ($1.56) whilst customers in France and Germany have been paying 99 euro cents ($1.45)
“restricted in their choice of where to buy music and consequently what music is available, and at what price”.. said Jonathan Todd spokesperson for the European Commission
