Could Cannabis Cure Cancer?

We have all heard how cannabis can help to relieve pain in some terminal illnesses, especially cancer, new studies have also found that it could be a possibility that cannabis may also stop tumor cells from growing.

Researchers Burkhard Hinz and Robert Ramer from the University of Rostock in Germany have found that tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and methanandamide (MA), which are cannabinoid compounds, can cause regression in highly invasive cancers, these include cervical caner and lung carcinoma.

Hopefully this could mean we are on our way to curing this disease or at least preventing the spread of it in the early stages. Fingers crossed.
