Burmester Audiosysteme are currently showing their 069 Reference Line CD player at CES 2008. The CD player is an advanced digital playback system which is one for the true audiophile.
The 069 CD Player has a proprietary belt drive motor system spins the CD’s, unlike the direct-drive mechanisms used by manufacturers of off-the-shelf CD players. The product has an aluminium base and uses carbon-fiber spring plucks to separate the receptive electronics from the external interface.
