Madeleine McCann Movie In The Works?
It has been reported that Gerry and Kate McCann are considering allowing a film to be made about their missing daughter after they were approached by a major entertainment firm.
Clarence Mitchell, spokesman for the couple, has confirmed that a meeting with the agency IMG took place last month but the McCann’s weren’t in attendance and nothing was agreed.
Clarence Mitchell stressed that a film would only be made if the McCann’s believed that it would aid in raising awareness in finding their daughter and they feel that it could help fund the search.
There was no word on whether Gerry and Kate would be playing themselves or whether celebrity actors would play the couple.
Mr Mitchell added, “While it may be hugely entertaining and a bit of fun to think of cast lists, we are a million miles away from that sort of thing.”
So, why a Madeleine movie? Clarence Mitchell is adamant to ensure people know why this movie may happen – it’s not for financial gain for the McCann’s but purely to raise awareness and money for the Madeleine fund.
“The media are making money out of the situation themselves and we feel it is only fair and right that some aspect of that should come to the fund to help find Madeleine. In this case we have had one meeting before Christmas. It was between myself, one other person and representatives from IMG.”
Nothing has been set in stone as of yet but it’s thought that it would be a good platform for getting Madeleine’s case back into the public eye.

Of course, Clarrie seems to have forgotten about the wee online shoppe which sells T-shirts and bangles, the site-traffic revenue, The No Stone million-pound donate-to-me fund, the reward pledges turned over, the two legal funds, the lovebowls in Portugal, the corporate donations and sponsorship, the interview and personal appearance fees, the T-shirt booth in Liverpool…the list goes on and ever on.

Is their anything hugely entertaining and a bit fun” about a missing child? . Seem’s the action’s that point to guilt of the McCann’s goes all the way down the Team McCann chain.
These actions of guilt started with leaving the children alone and snowballed from their:
Assumed abduction yet left the twins in apartment to run back to Tapas to raise the alarm.

I would say these are actions of “greiving parent’s” trying to move on. Not parent’s searching for an “abducted” child. Mr. Mitchell must know it, too.
This idea is simply disgusting.
I think that anything that keeps Dear Madeleine In the Public eye is a good idea this is definatly a way to do it. As for people who curse the mccanns for such a thing “shut up”
Do you think they are enjoying all this No all they want is there daughter back and doing everything they can to help her. What do u expect them to do shes there Daughter there flesh and blood. I would do the same Anything I could think of to help find her.
i think it is horrible to make a movie on a little girl who hjas gone missing i now there is a lot of films about this but useing a little girl who looks like madeline and what happend i thik it is a lil rave. so i think it shouldnt happn sorry i no that by doing this movie will keep her in pubilc so people will never forget her but by doing it to aim at her i think is a little bit mean.
oh and i dont think thye should put things in paper if they cant do it they said that dear madeline would be home for christmas this could have got her mom and dads hopes up but has it happend is she home no so i think they shouldnt put stuff in the paper unless they no they can do it.
