Karyn Kusama Signs On To Direct Jennifer’s Body

Karyn Kusama is back in the directing game almost three years since her last movie, Aeon Flux. Kusama has announced she’s signed on to direct Jennifer’s Body, a film starring Megan Fox written by writer-of-the-moment Diablo Cody.

The film sees Megan Fox playing a cheerleader who’s life gets turned upside down after she’s possessed by a cannibalistic spirit which makes her start killing young men.

Jennifer’s Body is being plugged as a horror comedy, which is an exciting concept. It’s definitely a ‘girl power’ film with a female director, star and scriptwriter but it doesn’t mean men are completely obsolete. Juno director Jason Reitman has signed on to produce the film.

So far, so good for Jennifer’s Body!
