JVC Reveal Their P-Series LCD TV At CES 2008

CES 2006 saw the introduction of JVC’s new 1.5 inch thick LCD TV. Ok, so we know there are plenty of think LCD TV’s out there so what makes this one different? Well, the JVC P-Series LCD TV comes complete with a flip-down iPod dock for video and music playback, with a 1080p resolution.

The iPod feature is pretty cool. Once docked, an iPod menu will appear on the screen to enable you to select music, music shuffle or video playback. The TV’s remote can also control the iPod. Once docked your iPod will get charged, regardless of whether the TV is on or off. Cool eh?

If that wasn’t all, JVC has gone all green on us, claiming that these latest models use less energy and have a more efficient power supply. You can expect the JVC P-Series LCD TV’s to hit shelved in Spring with a 52-incher set for a summer release.
