Golden Globes ceremony has been cancelled

It has been reported that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has called off this year’s Golden Globes ceremony this has happened after top nominees confirmed that they would not cross WGA picket lines outside the Beverly Hilton.
HFPA president Jorge Camara said in a statement that “We are all very disappointed that our traditional awards ceremony will not take place this year and that millions of viewers worldwide will be deprived of seeing many of their favourite stars celebrating 2007’s outstanding achievements in motion pictures and television.”
It’s said that the HFPA has scheduled an hour-long press conference at 6pm Pacific time on Sunday, January 13 at which this year’s Golden Globe recipients will be announced.
