First Look: Heath Ledger In The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus.

The first pictures of Heath Ledger in Terry Gilliam’s The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus have been posted online. It certainly seems that playing the Joker has left Mr. Ledger with a taste for playing the unusual characters in films.

The film follows the story of the owner of a strange travelling show who won an immortality bet with the devil. Once he meets his true love, he makes yet another deal with the devil and agrees to give Mr Nick his first child on her 16th birthday in return for eternal youth.

Ledger will play a man who aims to rescue the daughter from evil so he can marry her. Already this movie is confusing me loads so I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be good. Check out the photos here.
