Are Video Games to Blame for Obesity or Fast Food??

The games industry has been slammed as the problem to do with children’s obesity and not fast food! Steve Easterbrook who is the UK McDonald’s boss has hit out at the industry.
“there’s fewer green spaces and kids are sat home playing computer games on the TV when in the past they’d have been burning off energy outside.” Easterbrook stated in an interview with the Times.
I do however agree with some of his statement. However, food is also an issue too, its not one of the other that is to blame, it’s a combination. I have two kids who love to play computer games, adore fast food, not obese, but in moderation everything is fine and they do play outside. Due to the fact that parents working hours are longer also does figure in that kids are not playing outside as much as they used to.
