Coming to the Detroit 208 motor show is the 2009 Hyundai Genesis, his is the first vehicle from the Korean car maker to feature rear-wheel-drive so it will be interesting to see if this luxury sedan can make it in the US market. The price tag for the 2009 Hyundai Genesis Sedan is expected to start at $30,000.

You will notice that this new vehicle from Hyundai has very clean lines and I have to say looks very expensive considering the fact it is in fact a Hyundai. The car has a slight Lexus LS look to it, which is a very good thing as we do love that car.

The 2009 Hyundai Genesis has plenty of performance and power thanks to a choice of 3.3L and 3.8L Lambda V6 engines, the 3.3L produces 264HP and the 3.8L produces 290 horsepower. As a reminder do not forget that there will be a Genesis Coupe following next.

The exterior lines are elegant and stylish. The chrome grill is beautiful and resembles mercedes. I love the black four door sedan with chrome wheels. However, the interior styling sucks. The dash looks like a woman’s breast hanging dow in the middle. The seats are very plain. The interior of my Buick LeSabre has a much more stylish look. The new Toyota Camry has it beat overall.
