TiVo Desktop 2.6: get HD on your HD TiVo simple

TiVo Desktop 2.6 aims to make life a lot simpler for those wanting high definition on your HD TiVo, this latest update works with any podcatcher software you have.

Engadget have been able to get a hands-on with TiVo Desktop 2.6 and they like what they see. Using TiVo Desktop 2.6 is as easy as opening a directory where your HD content is downloaded and then letting the program parse all the sub folders and create corresponding folders on your Now Playing List.

What is really is cool, is almost every video codec and resolution around can be transcoded before it is automatically transferred to your TiVo.
