Ron Paul’s fundraising equals Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton

Ron Paul fundraising

Ron Paul is in no way mentioned as much as Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton in the main stream media, but what surprises me is if money speaks in a presidential race then how comes Ron Paul has equaled the funds raised by Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

Ron Paul has become a surprise star with over 20 million dollars raised in the final three months of 2007.

It does seem that Americans are fed up with the traditional politics and want a change, time will tell if that change is to be Ron Paul in 2008.

The status quo powers fear Dr. Paul as they should. That is the simple and obvious answer. God wants Ron Paul and so should you.

Not sure how bovvered ‘God’ is with teh current US presidential election… have been omre important issues in world history that did not get the obvious attention that a super being would take… although who knows, both the previous statements could be contested…with very simple arguments..
    Nevertheless…

It takes a great deal of courage to go against one’s party in a national debate and be the seemingly isolated politician in the US Republican party to openly oppose the current US foreign Policy.
No pretence, cards on the table, Paul’s views are known and will not change.
This kind of politician is sorely needed in today’s USA.
6 years ago, I was in the US and watched Fox News and honestly thought it was a News satire, similar to the daily show’s news clips or the UK’s News spoof with Daisy Donovan.
Was totally shocked to find out that this was the most popular news channel in the world’s only super power.
Fox, Sky are undemocratic. Whatever conspiracy theories are out there about Rupert Murdoch being part of the org running the world etc are irrelevant.
If a candidate wins the most funds in the last quarter then they MUST be allowed to take part in the televised debated shown on tv.
Otherwise, the equivalent cost of tv time in advertising on the Fox Network should be equally divided and assigned as contributions to the other Republican Party’s presidential campaigns.

I believe drastic and critical times and problems call for hard, difficult decisions to be made. The only candidate with the steadfastness (as proven by his voting record for the last decade) and gall (as demonstrated by his willingness to stand alone within his party in an unpopular position) is Dr. Ron Paul.

The people are ready, as shown by the overwhelming financial support recieved by Dr. Paul, for real change. It’s the majority of politicians who are not ready for change. For them change is mere retoric. For Dr. Paul, it is an ideology, a committment, and a lifestyle to be stood for and embraced.

The media elite hope to decide the race by covering and supporting through elective coverage and “stylized debates.” This is why the grass roots effort has never been as important as it is today. Trees are taken down at the roots. Discredit a belief at its’ heart or root and the whole belief system fails. It’s time to dismantle big government, debt financing, and other unconsitutional practices and once again empower the people and the states.
