Panasonic’s Wireless HD: beam steering to bounce around obstructions

Following Panasonic’s keynote at CES 2008, Engadget took some photos of the Panasonic Wireless HD setup which uses not only some really smart ultra-thin plasmas but also “beam steering technology”.

What this new technology does is bounce the signal around obstructions, Panasonic had a loop video playing to demonstrate how beam steering works.

This does look liek a great way to get wireless high definition.
