New DSLR Sony A200 camera at consumer electronics show

The new model is called the Sony DSLR-A200 which features 10.2 megapixels on a CCD image sensor, a battery life indicator, automatic pop-up flash, quieter shutter sound, improved predictive control performance, an auto focus speed 1.7x faster than the previous model, improved noise control for higher quality images, an easy-to-use function menu, a more compact body, a wider 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD, support for JPEG and RAW file format, an adaptor for Memory Stick Duo, a slot for CompactFlash Type I/II media cards and the camera is faster, lighter and easier to use.

The Sony A200 should ship in February.
