First Look: Jim Carrey As The Yes Man

Jim Carrey is one of those comedic actors that can raise a smile no matter what your mood. The thing is, his latest efforts haven’t seen him at his best. If you’re missing the uber funny Carrey then you’re in luck. His new movie, The Yes Man looks like it will return the actor to the funny form we’re used to.

Warner Bros. have released the first production pictures from The Yes Man and they look promising. The film is based on a novel by Danny Wallace and will be directed by Peyton Reed. Carrey will play Carl Allen, a man who signs himself up to a self-help program which causes him to say ‘yes’ to everything that comes his way. At the beginning, Carrey feels like saying Yes to everything gives his life new meaning but he eventually finds out that saying no sometimes can be just as healthy!

The film will be released in December 2008.
