Corey Feldman Talks Lost Boys 3, While Lost Boys 2 Is Confirmed As Direct To DVD

The talk of a Lost Boys sequel was enough to get me in a frenzy. The fact that Corey Feldman would be returning jus tipped me overboard. We’ve not seen either of the two Corey’s in anything decent for a very, very long time and I’m pretty sure both know how important this Lost Boys sequel will be.

The thing is, The Lost Boys 2 will not be getting a theatrical release - it will be going straight to DVD. Somehow it doesn’t seem right… Rush Hour 3 gets the go ahead but Lost Boys 2 gets put straight on the shelf! Is there any justice in the world? This film is highly anticipated - second only to a Goonies sequel (please lord, let that happen!) surely it makes great financial sense?

Warner Bros. have confirmed the sequels fate but surely if they had any sense they’d know with a bit of great marketing they could have a great money-maker on their hands?

Corey Feldman has recently spoke about the film in his blog, saying that the studio are impressed with what they’ve seen of the film already and there is already talks of a third movie.

I hope that Warner Bros. change their mind and give The Lost Boys 2 a theatrical release. Surely it’s only right to see Corey Feldman as Edgar Frog on a big screen eating popcorn?
