Barack Obama leading polls: Rival Hillary Clinton still trailing

Following on from his success Barack Obama is now leading the polls by jumping into a healthy lead, and rival Hilary Clinton has been left trailing. This is a bit of a surprise as it seemed as if Democrat Clinton was favorite to take the lead.

Over the past few days it seems as if the Obama campaign has continued with its success since Iowa which is where he also one and left poor Hilary in only third place. If Mrs. Clinton wants to get back on track with her campaign, then she will have to dig deep.

According to Sky News, Barack Obama took 41% of the costal vote, while Hilary Clinton took 28% and John Edwards took just 19% of the votes.
