GPS Camera Phones: overlay journey onto Google Maps

GPS Camera Phones
Although my Apple iPhone is really cool and it’s the best gadget that I brought in 2008 (well other than my PS3), the prediction that stuff makes interests me greatly.

They have said that “GPS camera phones will hit the market for the first time in 2008” and that the cameras in these phones “will allow you to take geo-referenced pictures, so that you can see where you were and can overlay your picture journey onto Google Maps”.

Now I do not know about you, but this kind of feature would be great and one I hope comes true this year.

Hi, this is already possible with e.g. Nokia N95, 6110 navigator and N82.

    One example here.

Googling for “geotagging” will give you many hits.
