It was shortly before 5am on Saturday in Fernley when a 30-foot-long section of the Truckee Canal broke, although the good news is that no injuries have been reported.

The Guardian said that Residents reported to news reporters that it was “a mess up there last night” and “nearby Fallon Naval Air Station provided three helicopters in case anyone needed rescue from a roof”.
