Exclusive Sony PS3 Games Looking Better Than Xbox 360

In my opinion and also many other gamers would agree, the exclusive games coming to the Sony PS3 are looking better than any other Xbox 360 game in terms of graphics, framerate and sound.
Playstation 3 developers are saying that they have barely scratched the surface with the PS3 and when you take a look at what they done with some of the exclusives it shows which games console is the better.
The fact that the PS3 also has the HD drive shows much more content will fit on one disc and will only improve the games vs the 360.
If the rumor comes true that was mentioned earlier today about Bill Gates possibly announcing a new Xbox 360 at CES with a HD-DVD, 320Gb hard drive and Wi-Fi.
Then this just shows again that the 360 has been lacking in many ways against the PS3, it’s clear that I feel the PS3 is better for the above reasons (I have owned both systems) but if you disagree state why you think so in the comments.
Also if you disagree then have you owned both systems, if you have not then I find it hard to see how you can judge.

Almost every dual format 360 title has performed/looked better than it’s PS3 counterpart and the ones that actually run better have had a cutback somewhere else important, whether that is the screen resolution or shader effect.
The question is:
WHY WOULD MICROSOFT UPGRADE THE SYSTEM IF IT IS ALREADY A SUPERIOR SYSTEM!!!
the reality is that if xbox 360 is a superior piece of hardware then Microsoft would not consider any upgrade at this early stage of the race, that is very clear, 2 years into the race and Microsoft already aknowledge that it will be out of the race if they don’t make xbox 360 closer to what PS3 is.
I have both systems and like both, but there is no doubt that PS3 is a superior hardware system.
To the point of xbox 360 releasing better games in 2007 I will like to add that releasing xbox 360 a year earlier than PS3 has a lot to do with that, it just take time (about a year) to develop a good game on any platform.
On the xbox 360 ultimate, if true, it will be a nice upgrade that will get the 360 closer to PS3 but still not there.
I really hope the fan noise is addressed on the 360 ultimate and wireless internet connection is added, if so I am buying.
I think if ultimate is release it just reafirms that PS3 is a better.

He is talking about over hyped games that might look as good as the movie that they show. There isnt any games that look that any better right now, and he knows it.
Xbox got all of the multi-plat games first in 07. Why? Because there are more people who own the console.

I own both systems and with respect to graphics ports from the 360 to the PS3 are horrible (i.e. Rainbow Six Vegas).
PS3 IP (Drakes Fortune) are stunning and showcase the power of the PS3.
I am currently on my 7th 360 (I have the replacement plan from Best Buy) and I feel any consumer electronic device that has such a high failure rate can never be called a success.
I enjoy certain games on the 360 and others on the PS3 they both have their fanbases.
PS3 graphics are alright but the library of games is a joke. For now the 360 is way more fun.
I bet over half the people here bitching about graphics on either system don’t even have a hdtv….
Exclusives on the ps3 have cleraly better graphics than 360 exclusives. An HD-DVD games on the 360? not likely unless they plan on pissing off everyone who bought the 360 already.
It’s the games that count and I think the ps3 is really picking up momentum. People say the ps3 had a rubbish year for software, but what did the 360 have after a year? GOW that was it, I’ve got these exclusives Uncharted, HS, MS, Ratchet and Clank: TOD, Warhawk, UT3(timed) pretty good for one year. The 360 had a good year but the only games for me worth playing are Mass Effect and Bioshock. Halo 3(yeah way to go Microsoft ur stupid ad campiagn for a game about shooting aliens with a rubbish plot and bland characters has pushed the idea that video games can be considered art back along way, hopefully MGS4 and the next project from team ICO/SOTC will set things right), Forza 2 and PGR4 where bland and boring. And have u seen the 360 2008 release schedule? they are in serious trouble, especially compared to ps3’s: MGS4, FF13, Little Big Planet, Home, Haze, Killzone 2, White Knight Story, The Agency, Wipeout HD and even RFOM 2 and MS 2 are rumoured to be out before the end of the year. The 360 has alienated to many people with focus on online play for games that should also have good single player. Sony got it right by developing great single player games and online only games for people who want to play online like Warhawk(do u need any other online game?) and the awesome looking the Agency out this year.
People don’t seem to understand that the programming environment between the PC and the 360 are very similar. Admittedly, the PS3 doesn’t use Microsoft packages for it’s development process, for obvious reasons. So if you’ve been using technologies such as the DirectX API, it’s going to be a completely different process. But as developers get more experience with the platform, the current issues will continue to improve and we’ll start to see that untapped potential.
