Exclusive Sony PS3 Games Looking Better
In my opinion and also many other gamers would agree, the exclusive games coming to the Sony PS3 are looking better than any other Xbox 360 game in terms of graphics, framerate and sound.

Playstation 3 developers are saying that they have barely scratched the surface with the PS3 and when you take a look at what they done with some of the exclusives it shows which games console is the better.

The fact that the PS3 also has the HD drive shows much more content will fit on one disc and will only improve the games vs the 360.

If the rumor comes true that was mentioned earlier today about Bill Gates possibly announcing a new Xbox 360 at CES with a HD-DVD, 320Gb hard drive and Wi-Fi.

Then this just shows again that the 360 has been lacking in many ways against the PS3, it’s clear that I feel the PS3 is better for the above reasons (I have owned both systems) but if you disagree state why you think so in the comments.

Also if you disagree then have you owned both systems, if you have not then I find it hard to see how you can judge.

since when has trees ever made a game more playable or fun?

  2. MDK says:

They don’t but they make the more presentable and the environments more realistic therefore making the game more immersive and believable, contributing to the overall quality of the game. Trees are just one example I used - it could have been any other aesthetic.

okay i admit, i love great looking environments but not at the expense of gameplay and framerates

  5. MDK says:

Who said anyhthing about the sacrifice of gameplay?? Gameplay is the main reason I am in support of Sony’s exclusives both current and forthcoming. Framerate is one minor issue if you have that keen an eye you can spot, but in the case of Unchartered and Ratchet and Clank there is no impact on gameplay and fun-actor whatsoever. I’m sure the framerate issue will dissapear in time.

i hope so, the ps3 is a powerfull machine and there is no reason for low framerates (a actually sold need for speed pro street because of that) Call of duty 4 has no problem whatsoever, same goes for motorstorm and resistance.. but this year should be a great improvement compared to 2007

“I’m shocked that Sony (who is normally very proprietary minded) allows this and Microsoft (who is supposed to be standards driven) does not.”

Sorry dude, I got a good laugh at that one. Microsoft is the ANTI standards body. Nothing they do is standards driven. Internet Explorer is so far from W3C standards it’s not even funny. When a good standard emerges they try to tank it with their own propriatry BS(java vs .net for example). Do I need to get into the laundry list of anti-trust lawsuits they’ve been in and lost over the last decade.

I think you meant they use more off the self components, that would be more accurate as well.

I also love how everybody supposedly has all the systems or at least both the 360 and PS3 so they can sound like they are unbiased. My @$$ all of you who claim you have both do, you are so full of it. You just want to make people believe you have a significant amount of time on both and sound like an expert or something.

    When I hear:
I have both and I like 360 by far the best

    To me that translates into:
I only have the 360 and have played a PS3 at a friends house or Best Buy a few times(and I’m a big fat looser)

  9. MDK says:

Why would anyone who has both want to lie about that?? Like I said in my previous posts I bought both on launch dates. I’m not bragging about it like you seem to think, neither is anyone else. If you earn enough money to invest in both then what’s the problem? You don’t and have a problem with anyone who does obviously.

  10. Tarince says:

    @MDK

You didn’t buy both consoles at launch. The chances of that are slim, so please stop making up tall tales. There is no way you could have afforded that. I doubt you were able to miss work either. How would you help your mother pay for your cell phone bill? Enough of the B.S. son.
