3M’s Half-inch Wide LCoS Projector at CES with 40-inch image

This will not be the first time gadget fans have heard people talking about putting tiny projectors in handheld devices, but it now looks like things are about to hit consumers sooner rather than later.

3M has announced their plans to demo a half-inch wide projector (called LCoS) that can show a 40-inch image, this demonstration will take place at the CES (consumer electronics show) which starts from the 7th of Jan.

Small projectors are planned for many devices including mobile phones; it will be interesting to see where this technology goes.
