The HP tx2000 laptop features an integrated microphone, a webcam, QuickPlay software and a 12.1-inch screen (that’s all we know about the tx2000 for now).
The Pavilion HDX is getting pimped and the new features will include a 20.1-inch WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) XHD Ultra Brightview display, Blu-ray / HD DVD support, an optional Core 2 Extreme processor, hybrid analog / digital TV tuner with a media remote, room for two HDDs, an eSATA port, a built-in subwoofer, 4 Altec Lansing speakers and a 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTS graphics set (nice for gaming on the move).
The new Pavilion HDX will start shipping late January for $1,999+ and the tx2000 should start shipping as CES commences (7th of Jan) for $1,299.
