Now at Prestige on Call of Duty 4 (COD4): what next?

Prestige on Call of Duty 4

Call of Duty 4 also known as COD4 has been getting all my gaming time on the Sony PS3, but after many hours of fun and hard work I got to Rank 55 which led me to find out about the Prestige mode.

It warned me that if I said yes to Prestige I would lose all the weapons and classes I had got so far, but I would also get the new Prestige Rank.

So I thought “What the hell” and went for it, now working my way up the ranks of Prestige until I get to level 55 again.

Today I was thinking “what’s next after this”, after a quick Google search I learned that it looks like there is 10 Prestige Ranks (as you can see in the photo above).

So that means going to rank 55 10 times over, this is madness but also a challenge I will fully take on.

Is this really true and if so what Prestige level are you at?

    Yeah I’m at lvl 55 10th prestige on my main tag and half through prestige 1 on my secondary tag. It’s fun but once you hit 10th prestige, there’s no more ranking up :( But you also don’t have to worry about performing well hahaha

    I want to know how can you be the host in a game? If somebody tells me I would appreciated

    you cannot determine if you are the host of a game, it is based on your connection and generally it will choose the best connection for the game so the only way you could become host 90% of the time is get an amazing internet connection.
    my mates say that they are bored of being 10th prestige 55 but i don’t mind cause i am still playing with my mates and having a laugh and i dont have to care about “oh i need 100 xp to rank up etc”

    I’m at 8th Prestige level about 34(I haven’t played in a week or so).. I want to see the Prestige through to the end and get my lvl 55 gold cross. It does get tedious, but I’m more worried about getting all the gold guns when I get to lvl 55.. From what I hear most that get them do a lot of cage matches w/ friends for headshots back and forth, and I’ve received invites from ppl but I am not big on that idea.. Oh well it’s real and best wishes!

    surely once you get to prestige mode, you must get given points much faster then before, anyone confirm that?

    The amount of points you recieve does not change, you still get the same for completing challenges and the same amount for kills and stuff.

    hey names luis and i was only on 2th prestige and its weird cuz once i played a couple times i would jump into another croud cuz theres ppl out there that would use cheats which i didn't know it was possible online well any way once i started playing i went from 2th prestige to 10th prestige just like that i know there was cheats envolved cuz all the players were flying around and no one ran out of bullets. it suks cuz your in it for the ranks now that youve reached 10th prestige its kinda pointless to keep playing.
