Michelle Rodriguez Checks Into Jail
By: Kerry | December 24, 2007
Michelle Rodriguez has checked herself into Lynwood jail to serve her 180 days for violating her probation.
Michelle must serve the full stretch in the overcrowded jail, where sentences for minor crimes are often cut short.
In November, actress Lindsay Lohan served 84 minutes of a 1-day sentence, while reality TV starlet Nicole Richie was released 80 minutes into her 4-day term in August.
But don’t expect Michelle to go in and out of jail within days. The judge working her case was not happy that she violated her probation and basically said that an early release or home confinement was out of the question.
How do you think she will cope?

Michelle Rodriguez Is Going Back To Jail

So sad that people disregard their civil responsibilities in hopes celebrity status will save them.
I hope she knows how to defend herself or “submit” because a shot caller is bound to make her a slave in jail.

Her booking sheet shows a release date of 12 April 2008 so she has been given about 90 days off for good behavior. After she has served 10% of the 180 day sentence she could be released for overcrowding.
Her release that way would probably provoke a confrontation between Federal mandate for prison population and the State judiciary.
I hope she is because her sentence and the added restrictions was harsh and unfair.
She deserved to be punished but what was done to her was unfair.
