Madeleine McCann’s Disappearance: 1 British paedophile out of 52

When I heard that the British police gave Portuguese detectives a list of 52 British paedophiles that may have had involvement in Madeleine McCann’s disappearance, I thought this list will take a while to get through.
Now there is news that this list of 52 has been shrunk to just one paedophile, these offenders all had links to the Algarve but we are now hearing after the elimination only one of them is left that could be involved in Madeleine’s abduction.
Sky News reports that Kate and Gerry McCann’s private detective is also focusing on British paedophiles being involved in the abduction.
Its been a few months now since Madeleine McCann went missing on the 3rd of May 2007, lets just hope this news leads to more answers in the search for truth.

God, hope this person is the one who took her. I hope and pray they get him. I hope and pray they still find her alive. Even if she’s been through trauma she can heal. This little girl has never had a chance with so much bungling by the police, so hope now they may be onto something. It’s about time. I don’t understand grown men who are predators of children. I will never understand it. I just hope it ends one day with all children able to play and be safe. They are very sick individuals who should never be out on the streets to harm other children ever again. I think the research shows that they can’t be cured, so lock them up, keep them away from children. Pray for Madeleine’s safety and return home. She may make it if everyone keeps looking for her and never forgets that as long as they haven’t found a body, she could absolutely still be alive. Keep looking!

Allison, the hypocrisy of invoking a Christian belief such as prayer then suggesting the answer is to not forgive but “lock them up” shows an obvious lack of understanding of the concept of forgiveness within religion.
Also, to quote the woman herself: “i THINK the research shows they can’t be cured”. Wow, conclusive proof there… You managed to look both flippant to these little things called facts while at the same time insensitive to the needs of persons suffering from mental health issues/psychosexual disorders.
David, I assume you are joking. Any further comment would be an admission of you opinion is actually worth caring about.
Not that I wish to point the finger of blame, but the only persons responsible for the sad events of Madeline’s disappearence that can be tried are the neglectful parents. I also hope for the girls’ safe return, but the extensive media coverage has stopped any chance of that ever happening as any abductor(s) would kill/bury the child.

Thats it lets all feel sorry for the Pedofiles out there ooh poor them! it must be soo awful for them! whilst were at it lets all have a minutes silence for all those murderers and rapists! sorry Tristan but i think your views are discusting! I take it you dont have children! I have no sympathy for these preditors what so ever! they know the difference between right and wrong! they should be castrated, lock em up and throw away the key! if they know they have a problem then they should turn themselves in for help ! in that case i would actually feel sorry for them and actually have some respect for them doing the right thing! but when these preditors are out there enjoying themselves and destroying innocent lives i dont have an ounce of sympathy for them!!! and I never will!

Yes, I often think a deserted island where they could all be put would be a good idea. They can live together and deal with their psychosexual issues together without any risk of harm to children. They are indeed very sick individuals who don’t understand child development and the harm they cause when they abuse children. As for the parents of Madeleine, they made a decision that will haunt them forever, but they never deserved to have to deal with an abductor. Never. There isn’t a parent alive who can profess to be a perfect parent; if they are they are lying. We have all turned out attention away for some time. Thinking that a predator has been watching and waiting to steal out children usually doesn’t cross most parents minds. Due to the extensive media blitz for Missing Madeleine though, many more parents are aware that a predator could be waiting for any moment their child might be alone for even 30 seconds in order to snatch him or her. Her parents have done everything possible to find her, they have followed the best advice from experts who know how missing children are found. This never should have happened, there should be no child abusers ready to pounce when a parent isn’t looking. I didn’t use to believe in capital punishment, but as I grow more aware of child abuse, I do now. There have to be more consequences for these criminals in order to try and stop them. It’s our duty as adults to protect the children of our world from these creeps who will never get well. To anyone who disagrees with me, remember I have a right to my opinion too.
What a mature response; oh well, some have to go below the line to talk. Have no control over that. Everyone has the right to their own opinions. That is what message/comment boards are for. Criminals who abuse children should be done away with as they do never get well. That is the truth. They live in isolation mostly which feeds their desires. Society will never accept them and they are criminals. THat’s a fact too. It is against the law to harm children. Madeleine’s parents have followed all the advice experts who know best on how to find missing children, so they are trying their best to get her back. If she’s alive, one day she will find out how much they truly do love her. They made a huge mistake, but any parent who professes to be perfect isn’t telling the truth. We all are guilty of something, we just never got caught. The parents have to live with this tragedy possibly forever unless she is found. They never deserved that. No one deserves to be watched and haunted by a child predator. No one. I hope tougher laws, capital punishment, society in general finally puts a stop to children being abused by these sick individuals who don’t ever get well. It’s a tragedy that they ever get back out on the streets to harm other children, but they do. Always hope Madeleine is found alive. All the people who judge her parents so cruelly will have to eat a lot of crow.
Agree with both of your posts, David and Leanne. Thanks for posting. Society has to do something finally with these predators of children. It is disgusting what they do and they have to be stopped. If we really care about our children then we need to stop them and not just say we want to stop them. I also hope ,always, that Madeleine is found safe and alive.
Ah Tristan, you have your head in the sand. You think a make believe Being is going to save everyone. If only your ancestors carried out the crusades more efficiently, you may have killed off all the non beleivers. What’s that!! Christians were killing thousands of people because of their opinion?
