R Kelly faces arrest over court date

It has been reported that R Kelly could face being arrested if he fails to turn up to court today after he missed a court appearance yesterday.

R Kelly is on trial for child pornography charges after he was accused of recording himself having sex with a girl who was allegedly 14 years old at the time.

Kelly claims that he missed the hearing in Chicago because state police stopped his tour bus in Utah, but county prosecutors have asked a judge to issue a warrant for the singer’s arrest.

Kelly has pleaded not guilty to all 14 child pornography charges
