Ben Affleck Replaces Edward Norton On State of Play

Cor blimey! There have been so many switch arounds recently that studio’s don’t know where they’re coming or going. Since Brad Pitt left State Of Play, he’s been replaced by Russell Crowe and then went on to replace Heath Ledger in Tree Of Life. Confused? Well, that’s not all as Edward Norton has walked away from State Of Play and his replacement will come in the form of Ben Affleck.

Yes, two main stars have walked away from the project but it doesn’t mean this film is doomed. It still promises to be a fantastic film (with British roots, what more could you want?) and despite losing two stars the cast is still impressive.

I know, I know, it was oh so exciting to think of the Fight Club boys reunion but take a look at the cast: Crowe, Affleck, Helen Mirren, Rachel McAdams, Robin Wright Penn and Jason Bateman. You can’t turn your nose up at that!
