Windows XP Service Pack 3: Microsoft’s OS update ready to download
I have never liked Windows Vista which is why I rolled back to XP after I tried the new OS out, so you can imagine how happy I am to know that Windows have now released XP Service Pack 3 and the update is now available for download. The update was only available as a download by invitation only, which left millions of Windows XP users feeling a little left out.

According to pcworld.com you still have to remember that this is still only a release candidate, but the full SP3 release should be available sometime in the first half of 2008. At least with this new update I can say away from the dreaded Vista for just a little longer.
