R Kelly To Appear In Court On 14 Counts Of Child Pornography

According to Sky News R Kelly is to appear in court on 14 counts of child pornography, more than five years after being charged. R Kelly pleaded not guilty.

It’s said that R Kelly was originally charged with 21 offences but seven were later dropped.

It’s said that the trial was due to start in Chicago in September but was postponed because the lead prosecutor had just given birth

It was previously delayed when Kelly had surgery for a burst appendix and when the judge suffered broken bones in a fall. The new date for the trial is now said to be in the spring.

It’s said that if R Kelly is convicted of the charges, he will face a prison term of up to 15 years and a fine of up to around $100,000.
