Seems like it the year for car recalls as Honda has just announced that 43’000 of their Acura’s has a power steering hose problem. The recall affects Acura sedan models from 2005 to 2008, the reason is that the V6 engine produces a high temperature which is perfectly fine but as a result the power steering hose will crack. This could result in fluid being leaked on to the catalytic converter; this could then result in a fire in the engine which is very dangerous.

According to Auto Blog The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration were the ones who issued the recall of these Honda Acura’s, however thankfully there are no reports of any injuries. Models affected is the RL, the funny fact is that your local Acura service department does not have much information on this.
