Brad Pitt, since walking away from State of Play, has been involved in a number of switch-rounds. It was rumoured Pitt would be replaced by Russell Crowe, and is now reportedly replacing Heath Ledger.
So, what has Pitt lined up next? Well, he’s in talks with director Terrence Malick about starring in Tree of Life. The film originally had Heath Ledger in the starring role opposite Sean Penn but as Ledger has walked away from the project, it seems Pitt is set to fill the gap.
Malick’s films are always a good watch. I think Heath would’ve been great in the film but I’m sure Pitt is a reasonable substitution!
